St George’s Day picnic

On the 24th April we had a picnic to continue our St George’s Day celebrations. We made our sandwiches in the morning and in the afternoon we sat outside on the grass to eat the sandwiches we had made and drink some juice. Thankfully it didn’t rain!

St. George’s Day: 23rd April 2012

On 23rd April FS1 celebrated St. George’s day. St. George is the patron saint of England who defeated a dragon to save the people of England. We made swords, shields, hats and masks to re-enact the story of St. George and the Dragon and had a very fun day.
